The South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-agency held a job fair at the courtyard of Manggarai Sub-district Office, Tebet, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Mayor, Muhammad Anwar said, the fair held in Manggarai Urban Village to provide decent employment opportunities for residents.
"We give opportunities to residents of Manggarai and its surrounding areas. No longer any excuses for them claiming that if a brawl occurs, the perpetrators are unemployed," he expressed, Friday (7/18).
He has also been trying to maintain stability in the area by creating various interesting activities such as Manggarai Berselawat and the Quran Village.
"Hope this will have a positive impact, making the region's objectives more productive and of course, the residents' economy more secure," he hoped.
South Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration, and Energy Sub-agency Head, Fidiyah Rohim explained, this job fair, featuring five major companies and 500 job openings, is a request from the South Jakarta City administration.
Whereas, in the process, this fair is slightly different from the standard qualifications of applicants, with some falling below the usual requirements. For instance, applicants with education below SMK (vocational school) or equivalent high school still have a chance to get a job.
"Let's come to the job fair held for one day from 9 AM to 3 PM," he stated.
