Jakarta Legislative Council (DPRD) Chairman, Khoirudin says the State Civil Apparatus (ASN) must be neutral in the Jakarta Pilkada (Regional Election).

According to him, ASN's neutral stance in the Pilkada is a rule that had to be implemented properly considering that the Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi, had also said the same thing.

"All ASNs must be neutral. Insya Allah (God willing), all can maintain their neutrality," he expressed, on the sidelines of discussions on the RAPBD 2025 at Grand Cempaka Resort, Bogor, West Java, Tuesday (11/19).

According to him, Jakarta residents are now more mature in democracy. Thus, the conduciveness ahead of the Pilkada voting is maintained.

"Until today, I'm happy that all Jakarta residents have responded maturely to the gubernatorial election, everything is within reasonable limits, there is nothing to worry about, everything is safe and under control," he explained.

He also expressed his appreciation to all security forces and Jakarta residents for maintaining stability during the implementation of the Pilkada stages.

"Hopefully, the upcoming Pilkada can run smoothly," he stated.
