As many as 255 students of SDN Johar Baru 10 attended the eat fish campaign held by Central Jakarta Food Security, Maritime and Agriculture Sub-agency, Wednesday (8/21).

Central Jakarta Economy and Development Assistant Secretary, Bakwan Ferizan Ginting, said the program must be appreciated since it is useful for children's health and growth.

"Fish is a food that contains high protein and is important for children's growth and development," he said, Wednesday (8/21).

Ginting also appealed to parents to be more capable of preparing fish-based dishes with more variety to appeal to children's tastes.

"We must give these children good nutrition from an early age. Consuming fish is also very good for intelligence," he added.

Meanwhile, SDN Johar Baru 10 Headmaster, Suhatna, appreciated the processed fish food packages containing fishkatsu and presto milkfish given to his students.

"Students were enthusiast to attend the campaign and eat fish-food product," he stated.
