The commemoration of South Jakarta 64th National Nutrition Day held at Mataram Park, Jalan Sisingamangaraja, Selong Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district went lively.

South Jakarta Mayor, Munjirin, said South Jakarta Administration appreciated all health apparatus and related units for preventing stunting.

"South Jakarta Health Agency also hold stunting prevention program today at car free day. I deliver my appreciation for all," he said, Sunday (2/4).

Munjirin invited to work together to improve community nutrition, especially toddlers and children. So, it is still very necessary to empower the community through socialization and assistance to residents by involving all stakeholders, including the private sector.

"I hope all sub-district heads, urban village heads, related sub-agency, PKK, cadre, education institution, and profession organization to support government in improving nutrition in Jakarta," he added.

Meanwhile, South Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Yudi Dimyati, admitted this year's focus for car free day in South Jakarta is stunting prevention campaign.

"Today we distributed animal protein, group exercise, MP-ASI exhibition, cooking demonstrations and health education," she admitted.

Moreover, South Jakarta Food Tenacity, Maritime and Fishery Sub-agency together with local PMI also distributed animal protein-based food.

"It is our effort in supporting government in realizing zero stunting," she closed.
