The collapsed sidewalk as long as 32 meters and 1.2 meters wide located on Jalan Cilangkap Baru, RW 01 Cilangkap Urban Village is under the repair stage.

Cipayung Sub-district Bina Marga Executing Unit Head, Hery Setiawan said the sidewalk repair is done to follow up on residents' complaints via CRM application.

"Five personnel are deployed to repair the sidewalk. It is targeted for completion in three days," he expressed, Monday (10/2).

According to him, the collapse was because of a landslide in the water channel at that location. After the channel was repaired, it would be continued with repairing the sidewalk.

It was carried out by making a new sidewalk considering the roadside is 15 centimeters lower than the asphalt. It was aimed at preventing unwanted things at night.

"We elevate the sidewalk to create a sense of safety," he furthered.

His side also made six points of crossing channels at the location to bring water into the channel.
