The Central Jakarta administration once again held a cleanup action on Jalan Sudirman, Jalan MH Thamrin, and Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Senayan area on Tuesday (8/22) night.
Cleanliness is a shared responsibility
Central Jakarta Mayor, Dhany Sukma said the cleanup action which involved 1,200 joint personnel was carried out from 8 PM to 11 PM.
"They consist of Central Jakarta PPSU and various regional apparatus organizations," he expressed, Wednesday (8/23).
According to him, it had been held eight times since July 2023 and would continue until closer to the ASEAN Summit.
"Approaching the ASEAN Summit, we will intensify it twice a week," he said.
He hoped that it could encourage residents' concern for the cleanliness of Jakarta.
"Cleanliness is a shared responsibility," he stated.
