Hundreds of residents together with PPSU personnel carried out cleanup activity in the residential area of RW 01, Jelambar Baru Urban Village, Grogol Petamburan Sub-district, West Jakarta.

Jelambar Baru Urban Village Head, Danur Sasono said the cleanup activity was held simultaneously involving residents from nine RTs in RW 01.

"From urban village party, we send 45 personnel of PPSU," he expressed, Sunday (7/23).

It was focused on cleaning channels, roads, green belts to pruning trees.

"It is very good local wisdom. We want to keep the environment clean, beautiful, and neat together. Then, it can prevent the potential for puddles and disease due to a dirty environment," he explained.

RW 01 Chairman, Jelambar Baru Urban Villagr, Abdul Muhid stated it should become a routine agenda. The similar actiom was also spotted in the SDN Jelambar Baru 07 environment.

"We want children who go to school to also feel more comfortable. Thank you for synergizing with the government and residents to protect the environment here," he stated.
