The Central Jakarta Water Resources (SDA) Sub-agency is dredging the Pejompongan Connecting Channel on Jalan Pejompongan 3B, Benhil, Tanah Abang.

Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head, Eli Menawan Sari expressed the dredging work is carried out along 70 meters with 130 centimeters wide and high.

"It has been ongoing since January 26 and is targeted to be completed in seven days ahead," she expressed, Saturday (1/28).

She explained that it involved six workers. Until today, they managed to pick up 7.28 cubic meters of mud from the channel.

"The progress so far has touched 10 percent or 14 meters long," he closed.
