The Equipment and Supplies Technical Management Unit (UPT Alkal) for Jakarta Water Resources Agency (SDA) has added 50 units of floating pumps to maximally handle inundation in Jakarta.

"Each pump has 50 liters capacity per second," said Jakarta SDA Agency's UPT Alkal Head, Yoserizal, Wednesday (12/7).

He explained those pumps were bought through the 2022 procurement results with a budget of around Rp 5.9 billion.

All of them had been distributed to five SDA Sub-agencies in five areas of Jakarta.

"Each region gets 10 units. The distribution was carried out last week," he closed.
