The Tanah Abang Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Task Force is draining the water channel on Jalan Jatibaru Raya, Kampung Bali Urban Village, Central Jakarta which has been ongoing since Monday (5/9). It is targeted to be completed on the forthcoming Monday.
The progress of the work has touched 120 meters or around 90 percent
Tanah Abang Sub-district SDA Executing Unit Head Eli Menawan Sari said that the mud in the channel was already 40 centimeters thick.
"The progress of the work has touched 120 meters or around 90 percent," she expressed, Thursday (5/19).
To conduct it, nine workers had been alerted at the location.
"Hope it can accommodate water in large quantities after the draining is done," she hoped.
