As many as 48 participants have enlivened the Micro Small Medium Enterprises (MSME) Bazaar at East Jakarta Mayor's Office which will be held from today until Wednesday (2/23).

East Jakarta Industry, Trade, Cooperative, Small and Medium Enterprises (PPKUKM) Sub-agency Head Parulian Tampubolon said the bazaar was held to recover people's economy, especially MSMEs whose businesses were affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We want to help market their products by holding a bazaar. Hopefully, it can encourage them to face the pandemic," he said.

East Jakarta PPKUKM Sub-agency's Trade Section Head Partini mentioned MSME sold various products, such as nasi kebuli (spiced rice), kerak telor (omelette), bir pletok (herbs and spices-based beverage), handicrafts, clothes, and so forth.

"This is the first time and will be held six times this year. The second event will be held in the middle of Ramadan," she explained.
