Jakarta Government urges all people to be more disciplined in implementing 3M health protocols because COVID-19 positive cases are still increasing. Although the government continues to intensify 3T action, it needs cooperation from the community to break the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

Jakarta Health Agency's Disease Prevention and Control Division Head, Dwi Oktavia stated, based on the latest data from Jakarta Health Agency, PCR test has been carried out for 11,675 specimens. From that amount, 9,312 specimens have been tested today to diagnose new cases with total of 2,471 positive results and 6,841 negative results.

"Some of today's positive data has been delayed due to improvements on the input connection system of Health Ministry. There may be data accumulation since previously it couldn't be withdrawn through the system," she said as quoted from Jakarta PPID Press Release.

Total PCR test rate per 1 million population reached 281,072. Number of people tested for PCR in the past week was 78,099. While number of active cases in Jakarta increased by 101 cases, thus number of active cases in Jakarta to date is 13,140 people (including those who are still being treated/isolated).

Meanwhile, for total confirmed cases in Jakarta as of today reached 331,094 cases. From that amount, 312,748 people recovered with recovery rate of 94.5% and 5,206 people died with mortality rate of 1.6%. While mortality rate in Indonesia reached 2.7%.

For positivity rate or positive cases percentage in the past week in Jakarta reached 17.5%, while the percentage of positive cases in total reached 11.1%. WHO also set standard positive cases percentage no more than 5%.

In re-implementation of Transitional PSBB period, Jakarta Government advised people who want to enter Jakarta to carry out self-examination for COVID-19 through JakCLM feature at JAKI application. By using JakCLM, people can get information about COVID-19 risks and various recommendations according to the risks they have. People's contribution in filling JakCLM can help Jakarta Government in preventing COVID-19 spread in Jakarta.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also give sanction for anyone who don't wear mask and violate health protocols, as well as intensify guest book data collection. It is hoped that people can be more disciplined in implementing health protocols and participating in breaking the chain of COVID-19 transmission.

Always remember to pay attention and implement these principles in daily activities:

• Stay at home and don't go outside if not urgent

• Implement 3M: wear mask properly, maintain safe distance of 1.5-2 meters, and wash your hands with soap and running water regularly

• All activities that are permitted to operate should limit capacity by maximum 50% and comply with strict health protocols   

• Remind the others to always implement health protocols
