East Jakarta's Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) has noted that they have sprayed disinfectants in 3,231 different locations along March until September 20.
It is done to minimize the transmission of COVID-19 in East Jakarta
Agus Bastian, Division Head of PMI's Public Relation and Communication disclosed it was intensified in residential areas, offices, buildings, schools, places of worship, public facilities, protocol roads and other places.
"It is done to minimize the transmission of COVID-19 in East Jakarta," he expressed, Monday (9/21).
He detailed it was mostly conducted in 29 industrial areas and 311 other areas. There were also in 1,608 residential areas, 102 health facilities, 408 educational facilities and 198 public facilities, 3 cottage industry areas, 192 government offices, 71 markets, 54 offices, 185 places of worship, 21 recreational/exercise places and 49 public transportations.
"Averagely we do it in 8-10 locations every day," he stated.
