The Jakarta's Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) holds a blood donation for people who want to donate their blood amid the large-scale social restrictions (PSBB) in the capital.
We need 1,000 bags every day. And now we already have 70 percent of the total requirement for the hospital
Jakarta PMI Chairman Rustam Effendi said, based on Gubernatorial Regulation number 88/2020, it was still allowed during the PSBB.
"It is held by implementing a strict health protocol," he expressed, Friday (9/18).
Even, the PMI medics' health was also checked up routinely in order to prevent unwanted things.
He explained this action was intensified, as blood supplies in Jakarta were running low. To optimize it, his side had cooperated with various circles.
"We need 1,000 bags every day. And now we already have 70 percent of the total requirement for the hospital," he told.
