The North Jakarta Scout Movement, distributed 3,000 pieces of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as face shields to the Jakarta Provincial Government, which aim to help medical workers in combating the spread of COVID-19.

These face shields were purely made by children scouts in North Jakarta

"These face shields were purely made by children scouts in North Jakarta," expressed North Jakarta Scout Movement Vice Chairman, Nana, at Jakarta City Hall, Monday (4/6).

He stated similar assistance would also be sent to the Cilincing Sub-district RSUD, Kelapa Gading Sub-district RSUD and several puskesmas in North Jakarta.

"I hope this is very helpful for them (medical workers)," he hoped.

Jakarta Governance Bureau Cooperation Division Head Marulina Dewi expressed her gratitude for the PPE's assistance.

"We will soon send them to RSUDs and puskesmas," she stated.
