As many as 31 offices of South Jakarta Fire and Rescue (Gulkarmat) Sub-agency were sterilized by spraying disinfectants in a bid to battle coronavirus.

Those 31 offices consisted of South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Office, 3 offices of Pasar Minggu, Pesanggrahan and Jagakarsa, as well as 27 fire stations that spread in the local town.

"To prevent coronavirus, we use the AFT Advance Fire Fighting Technology," expressed South Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-agency Head, Helbert Plider, Monday (3/16).

In this action that starts at 7.30 AM to 2 PM, his side involved 875 employees comprising civil servants and PJLPs.

"We also urge locals and related units to help us prevent the outbreak," he stated.
