Thousands of productive and protective trees are planted on Buaran Riverbank, RW 07 and 13, Pondok Kelapa Urban Village, Duren Sawit.

"There are 1,000 trees planted. Besides Buaran Riverbank, trees also planted in parks locarlted in two RWs and residential ," said Mayor of East Jakarta, Bambang Musyawardhana, Sunday (11/29).

The kinds of productive trees planted are mango, guava and rambutan (hairy lychee). As for the protective ones, are mahoni, tanjung, egalistus trembesi, and beringin trees.

"Hopefully, they could be useful for people," he hoped.
