Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Department is targeting to distribute 24,000 work ID cards this year.

"To achieve the target, 2,000 cards will be distributed each month," said Jakarta Manpower and Transmigration Department Head, Andri Yansyah, Tuesday (1/15).
Since January 3-15, it is noted that 4,247 workers have done registration.
"There have been 1,396 people verified. While for those who pass verification reached 1,255 people," he expressed.
According to him, verification of completeness of worker data includes ID card, family card, salary slip, and recommendation letter from the company or trade union.
"They must have Jakarta ID card with income based on provincial minimum wage (UMP) plus 10 percent," he told.
Aside that coordination with PT Bank DKI is also made for processing the card printing.
"Its distribution is done collectively in predetermined locations," he stated.
As for the information, last year, as many as 3,070 cards have been distributed.
Using the card, the user can ride Transjakarta bus for free, buy staple food at low prices, and their children get education funds through Jakarta Smart Card (KJP) Plus.
