Jakarta Governor, Anies Baswedan, visited tsunami victims at Tarakan RSUD, Gambir, Central Jakarta, Sunday (12/23) evening after Sunda Strait tsunami.
" We will do all the things we can do. This morning we immediately sent an ambulance to the scene"
According to him, victims who are currently being treated around 11 people, with details 9 big families of Tarakan RSUD and 2 residents of Jakarta. "18 people are still on the way. Then the victims who died were 10 people, 5 bodies had been taken by the family, and 5 other bodies are still here," he expressed.
He also expressed condolences to the victims. Jakarta Provincial Government is ready to help as hard as possible to conduct evacuation and to provide medical treatment for victims.
"We all feel very sad. We will do all the things we can do. This morning we immediately sent an ambulance to the scene," he stressed.
