" We will continue to socialize about the clean life. This event is a form of support from the community"
On that occasion, Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno said, besides relying on the government, it can be realized by involving the community.
"We will continue to socialize about the clean life. This event is a form of support from the community," he expressed, Sunday (7/22).
According to him, it can create jobs. One of them is residents can open a business in the field of hygiene.
"It can open more jobs, which I call green jobs. This is about jobs generated with a clean culture," he said.
Hopefully it could maintain public awareness of cleanliness. OTT (caught-in-act) operation intensified by Jakarta Environment Dept. is currently still unoptimal.
At the same place, KJT Chairman, Ivan Andi Darmawan explained, Jakarta Clean Up Day is the third time held. Two other events were held on Tidung Island and Kalibaru Island.
"The purpose is to encourage people to maintain cleanliness and not littering," he said.
