Puddles on Jalan Kampung Baru, Tidung Islands Subsided

Puddles on Jalan Kampung Baru, RT 01/03, Tidung Island Urban Village, South Seribu Islands, finally receded after being sucked by officers under North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept..

" At 8.20 AM, 15 officers of Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., PPSU and freelancer under Water Resources Sub-dept. began to suck up puddles using two pumps and six hoses"

South Seribu Islands Sub-district Sector VIII Head, Eko Mahendro said puddles as high as 20 centimeters inundated Jalan Kampung Baru when it rained last night.

"At 8.20 AM, 15 officers of Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., PPSU and freelancer under Water Resources Sub-dept. began to suck up puddles using two pumps and six hoses," he stated, Monday (2/12).

He added, it was completed at 11 AM. Currently road towards MTSN 26 school is dry and already passable.

"Officers also make a temporary drainage to smoothen water flow and prevent puddles when it rains," he said.
