Grilled Fish Competition in North Jakarta Recorded in MURI

The grilled fish competition in order to welcome the New Year 2018, Jalan Danau Sunter Selatan, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta, was recorded in the Indonesian World Record Museum (MURI) with the most participants reaching 1,864 participants in 466 groups.

" The spirit of togetherness of these citizens is really materialized"

North Jakarta Mayor, Husein Murad disclosed the competition was first held and responded positively by citizens.

"The spirit of togetherness of these citizens is really materialized. It is proved by the success of MURI award as a grilled fish competition," he expressed, Monday (1/1).

In the competition, the champion was achieved by Penjaringan Sub-district, followed by Tanjung Priok Sub-district and Cilincing Sub-district. The champion got the main prize of three motorcycles.

"In addition to enliven the New Year, this competition is also a means of socialization so that people love to eat fish," he said.
