" Most have receded this morning"
Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) recorded that inundation that hit regions in the capital is due to high rainfall and overflowing water of the Krukut River this morning.
Jakarta BPBD's JS112 Officer, Vino said most of the inundation that occurred on Sunday (11/13) night has begun to recede. PPSU officers are immediately deployed to overcome inundation at some points.
"Most have receded this morning," he expressed, Monday (11/13).
Here are urban villages in two cities that have been receded this morning, as follow:
1. West Jakarta
- Kapuk, Cengkareng Timur, Rawa Buaya, Kembangan Selatan, Srengseng, and Kedoya Selatan
2. South Jakarta
- Cilandak Barat, Lebak Bulus, Cipulir, Kebayoran Lama Utara, Pondok Pinang, Jati Padang, Ragunan, Cilandak Timur, Bangka, Bintaro, Petukangan Utara, Ulujami, and Petogogan
He assessed, height of the inundation is between 15-100 centimeters. In the evening, it was recorded that some residents were evacuated.
"This morning there are no refugees, as the inundation has receded. Residents have returned to their homes," he closed.
