Jakarta DPRD Commission B is encouraging Jakarta Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept. to inject budget for Sea Water Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) machine development at Muara Angke Port, Penjaringan, North Jakarta in 2018.
" I hope the budget in 2018 can be injected"
"I hope the budget in 2018 can be injected," expressed Darrusalam, Secretary of Jakarta DPRD Commission B, Monday (10/9).
According to him, SWRO development at the port is needed to meet the raw water needs of fishermen. Considering, the water in the area has been supplied from Tangerang and is sold per tank.
"Can we imagine if we buy every day, how much it costs? It must be higher than we have own SWRO," he stated.
Separately, Jakarta DPRD Dept. Head, Darjamuni explained, since last year, his party has injected Rp 16 billion for SWRO development, but it has not been realized.
"Hence we will inject its budget next year," he stated.
