Jakarta BPOM has examined food products sold during Car Free Day on Jalan Mampang Prapatan Raya, South Jakarta, Sunday (8/27).
" We immediately ask the traders not to sell"
According to Dewi Prawitasari, Head of Jakarta BPOM, from 47 samples of food products, 4 out of them are positively containing dye and formalin.
"We immediately ask the traders not to sell. And one of the remaining products we ask to be thrown away. Then we bring other products," she stated.
Her side also has recorded traders and find out where the production is.
"We have already recorded and we will report to the Deputy Mayor thus related unit to guide them," he finished.
