" President wants to keep meat price below 100 thousand per kilogram"

“President wants to keep meat price below 100 thousand per kilogram,” he said, Monday (5/16).

Not only importing meat, Basuki tries to buy cattle from East Nusa Tenggara (NTT). Pregnant cattle will not be slaughtered, but for breeding.

Basuki prepares budget up to Rp 500 billion for meat stock this year. Jakarta Provincial Government also plans to give cheap meat for KJP holder by Rp 35 thousand per kilogram.

Other commodities such as rice, rice, onion, chilli, and so on will be directly distributed from farmers and factory for cheaper price.
